Textile Designer Job Description

We are seeking a Textile / Bedding Designer to join our growing team!

As our Textile Designer, you will produce beautiful, differentiated designs of bedding and other soft textiles, and communicate directly with factories and customers in the execution of the product development and sampling processes. As a Textile Designer, you will execute projects independently, with confidence and minimal oversight.

Depending on your background and experience, you will design products for one of our two brands—HiEnd Accents (contemporary style), Paseo Road (rustic style)—or both.

Textile Designer Responsibilities

• Create cohesive and innovative designs for bedding, pillows, throws & accessories.
• Work closely and collaboratively with creative team, upper management, and sales teams to ensure development of the best quality products that also meet the business objectives.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with our overseas partners to ensure accurate product development and on-time deliveries.
• Build concept presentations for new product launches, and present to upper management.
• Lead continuous innovation in print, pattern, and solid bedding, pillows and throws. Create core bedding and pillow programs to support seasonal print & pattern styles.
• Regularly shop markets to keep abreast of trend and find opportunity.
• Create accurate & detailed design specs for products.
• Issue comments for product samples, strike offs, and bulk approvals
• Maintain and organize samples and swatches
